This bathrobe is amazing. It absorbs water pretty well. Like all dogs, after showering, my dog likes to shake all the water off of her, but with this robe, the water doesn't get everywhere! It gets absorbed and "stays" between the bathrobe and my dog. Upon drying her as best as I can, I immediately put this robe on her. I like the strong velcro; it ensures that it doesn't come off my dog, and the rope that goes around her waist is handy to keep the robe on her at all times. My dog is currently 50 lbs with a 24" inch length, and I ordered the XL for her. It fits her a little bit but she's still growing (still a puppy) so I know she'll grow into it.
